Kelana Kaia is an immersive installation that blends in immersive exploration experiences and interactive games to explore the mysterious deep underwater world.
Kelana Kaia itself is a work by Sembilan Matahari, a Bandung-based art studio that explores combinations of multimedia and audiovisual as the roots of all their creative works.
To access Kelana Kaia AR games, visitors can simply download the Semesta Kala app by Sembilan Matahari—available on the App Store and Play Store.
After choosing the “Kelana Kaia” option, they will be invited to play the games by catching as many virtual fish as they can in the form of AR experiences around the installation.
The more fish they collect, the more points they will get. At the end of the game, there’s also a leaderboard that shows all the highest positions of the players.
In the future, it’s not only Kelana Kaia that will be provided with interactive AR games. Sembilan Matahari has planned to collaborate with Assemblr even further to apply other interactive AR games in other immersive installations on their Semesta Kala application.
