Poppins Playground is a wrap! We’ve got to say, it’s been a wonderful yet valuable experience for us to help Poppins team incorporate AR experiences on 5–9 July 2023 (yup, five days straight!).
Held at 23 Paskal Shopping Center, Poppins Playground itself is a bazaar series specifically made for parents and kids—another half of its main event, Poppins Bazaar. Created by an all-women team, the Bandung-based event creator strives to give the best experiences to enjoy school holidays with fun activities.
To make the fun even more fun, we helped Poppins team to design and insert interactive experiences with augmented reality! Powered by AR, children can play guessing games related to animals in the atrium hall.
While walking around the huge space and finding the objects, they can also learn new things and sharpen their knowledge in a very fun way!
Not only that, we also had the chance to exhibit at the event to let everyone know about Assemblr. Shout out to our team who stayed day and night at our booth!
And this is the best part… Yup, we also provide two AR photobooths!
They’ve become huge attractions for all the parents and kids since they can pose as if they were under the water or in the jungle—complete with the cute animals as well.
For the last two days, we also had an AR storytelling event in collaboration with Budi Baik Budi! The whole story was based on our decoration themes—and kids can see the characters popping up in AR experiences. Super fun!
It’s been fun to see kids and parents engaged with our platforms, and we’re definitely looking forward to more experiences like this.
