Assemblr Studio is an AR platform that lets you create, view, and share your own AR experiences in one single platform. It only takes minutes to create your own AR—simply by dragging and dropping the elements in the editor.
Assemblr Studio is available in two forms: web browser and mobile application.
You can access Assemblr Studio on browser via studio.assemblrworld.com—or you can also download the mobile app on App Store or Play Store.
For mobile application, Assemblr Studio requires at least iOS 14 for Apple users or OS 8.1 Oreo for Android users to run well. Also, for Android users, your device should have at least 3 GB RAM.Meanwhile, for web browser, Assemblr Studio is free to access on any devices—as long as you have a browser installed on the device, you’re good to go!
Assemblr Studio is free to use and download. However, we offer in-app purchases for 3D bundles and custom markers. Don’t worry—if you need to save up, you can still import your own 3D object or even earn rewards from your daily activities.
You can create your own AR experiences using our easy-to-use Editor. To help you with the details, we have created a playlist of tutorials to help you tinker with Assemblr Studio's building tools for the first time. After that, make sure to publish, so everyone can see how impressive your works are!
To view your works in the form of AR experiences, you just have to tap on the AR Mode button while on build mode. You’ll be asked to scan the ground, then you’re ready to go!
If you want to see your published projects or others in AR experiences, you can also scan the AR markers—be it QR or custom markers!
Scanning QR Markers:
Scanning Custom Markers:
Assemblr Studio has two types of AR markers: QR and custom markers.
QR markers are QR images that can trigger your AR content, so when you scan them, you can see an AR content coming to life right above the image.
Unlike QR markers, custom markers are customized images or graphics that can trigger your AR content. This means you are free to upload the image or graphic that you want—be it posters, invitation cards, illustrations, packaging, etc.
Once you register as our user, you will automatically get one FREE custom marker. However, to unlock more custom marker slots, you can either purchase the marker per slot or susbscribe to our plans to get bundled slots.
Please take note that purchasing custom marker slots means having the access for a lifetime; meanwhile, if you subscribe to plans, your custom markers will expire once the subscription period ends.
Yes, you're more than capable to do so! With the help of Assemblr Studio, you are able to convert and optimize your custom 3D object to be directly transferred into Assemblr Studio itself.
However, make sure that your objects are in .FBX & .GLB format and saved in low poly mesh.
Image recognition is an important part of AR systems. Recent development of AR has led to markerless AR. This approach allows the use of any and all parts of your physical environment as the base for the placement of your 3D content. Simply put, you can place your 3D objects freely!
However, some older devices still need to identify visual markers in your environment first to place your creation. This is called marker-based AR. Instead of scanning the ground, these devices will look for a visual marker when you switch your Assemblr mode to AR.
When your camera doesn’t detect the identified marker, for example when you pull your camera away from it, your object will disappear from the view. More importantly, AR can also appear more smoothly for several devices—such as Apple devices supported by ARKit and Android devices supported by ARCore.
Of course! We really encourage you to share your enthusiasm to your friends and family. When you publish your project, you will find the option to share your project directly to Facebook or Twitter.
If you're a website owner or a blogger, you can also embed your own 3D project, so you can present a better visualization in the form of fresh 3D experiences.
Additionally, you can also share your project with QR or custom markers, and share them directly with everyone in your circle.
To embed your AR project to your blog or website, please follow the steps:
You experienced trouble connecting into Firebase, or there's a cache problem. First off, you might want to check your internet connection. Make sure that it's stable enough to connect to Assemblr Studio.
If you still face any difficulties, here are the things you need to do:
Web Browser:
Mobile Application:
Head to Assemblr Studio mobile app >Scan. Then, type in the username of the marker owner, and point your camera towards the custom marker. Get ready to see the AR popping up above it!
You are experiencing trouble connecting into Firebase, or you have not saved your changes on your Sharing Settings yet.
To resolve, please check whether your device is connected to your internet connection. If it's unstable, try changing it into another connection.
If it still happens, please do the following steps:
This might be triggered by the file size of your project. The more objects are in your project, the bigger the possibility for your project to crash.
If you experience this, please follow these steps:
P.S. As we rely on your browser cache, please take note that you might not be able to restore all your projects.
