Marketeers, one of Indonesia’s leading marketing media platforms, has long been committed to sharing the latest insights and trends in the world of marketing. Extending its role beyond publishing, Marketeers established the Philip Kotler Museum of Marketing with Hermawan Kartajaya, an educational and inspirational space designed to introduce modern marketing theories to the wider public. Now in its third edition, the Museum of Marketing continues to push boundaries in how marketing knowledge is shared.
As a pioneer in the field, Marketeers understands that marketing theories are often abstract and conceptual, making them difficult for many to grasp. This challenge inspired the team to reimagine how marketing knowledge could be delivered, making it more engaging, creative, and relevant, particularly for younger generations. With this vision, the Museum of Marketing was designed not just as a showcase, but as an interactive learning space where visitors can immerse themselves in marketing concepts.
To bring this vision to life, Marketeers partnered with Assemblr to integrate Augmented Reality (AR) into the Museum of Marketing 3.0. AR was applied across two key exhibits.
First, the 5A Theory – AR Learning Experience, which brings Hermawan Kartajaya’s marketing concepts to life through interactive, easy-to-understand visualizations. Instead of simply reading about the theory, visitors can “experience” it in real time.
Second, the Whack-A-Mole – Marketing Edition Game, adapted from Marketeers’ old logo. This fun, gamified installation lets visitors interact with Marketeers’ mascots, representing the brand’s journey through the years in an entertaining yet meaningful way.
With the integration of AR, marketing theory no longer feels rigid or difficult to digest. Instead, it becomes dynamic, fun, and highly memorable. The Museum of Marketing 3.0 has evolved into a space that blends education with entertainment, making it more relevant and engaging for diverse audiences.
Through this project, Marketeers strengthens its position as a pioneer of modern marketing in Indonesia, while Assemblr supports this transformation by delivering interactive technology that creates fresh, immersive experiences for museum visitors.
